ThermalSeal RT2 sealing films combine an optically transparent polyester sealing film with a very strong, ultra-smooth, and highly conformable adhesive. Designed for use with standard 96-well plates where rows must be selectively protected or accessed. *Certified DNase- & RNase- free *Ultra-high optical clarity *Features a soft conformable adhesive which forms a very strong seal around raised wells to minimize evaporation and cross-contamination *Ideal for use with flat-top and hard-shell dual component (e.g. polycarbonate / polypropylene) PCR plates *Available in a smaller cut for raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates: ThermalSeal RT2RR *Not recommended for removal after thermal cycling Helpful Tips: *Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation *The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate *More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells *End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended Application: qPCR Temperature Range: -40°C to +120°C
